Two cotton fine twills can look almost identical on a sample table. Both may show a clean diagonal and a soft hand. However, appearance alone does not tell the whole story. The real difference lies in how the yarn is prepared, how tightly the crepe is woven, and how the dyeing route is controlled. For this construction, fabric quality is decided before color ever reaches the yarn. 1. Why Yarn Quality Matters in a Dyed Twill

Short fibres surface as hair after dyeing, dulling the twill diagonal. Our yarn is prepared to remove them before weaving, so the dyed face of Item 8695 stays clean and even — the reason the sand and olive shades read flat instead of fuzzy.
