This woven ice flower satin is a 100% polyester fabric with a characteristic ice-flower surface texture — a fine, raised granular pattern that reads like frozen flowers across the cloth. The texture is created in the yarn itself, using a 75D/36F DTY ice-flower yarn (20D + 26D) in the weft against a 50D/36F FDY warp, so the pattern is part of the construction rather than a printed or embossed effect
At 138 GSM it is a mid-weight satin with a soft, slightly matte-to-lustrous hand — more textured than a plain satin, more fluid than a heavy brocade. It is a widely used choice for headscarves, shawls and abayas, and works well for evening gowns, dresses and lightweight coats where a distinctive surface is wanted without stiffness.
